Recently retired after a quarter-century at the helm of Rack magazine and "Buckmasters Whitetail Trophy Records," Mike Handley now devotes most of his time to painting wildlife and measuring deer antlers.  The award-winning journalist-turned-artist from Montgomery, Alabama, also teaches classes on scoring, and he serves on the board of directors for the Black Belt Treasures Cultural Arts Center. He has written thousands of newspaper articles and magazine features, ranging from political malfeasance to catfish noodling.
